Ethical Bengal Breeding in Canada Focused on Well-Socialized Cats
Brigite’s Bengals is a responsible Bengal breeding program based in Calgary, Alberta, dedicated to health, temperament, and long-term well-being. Our cats are raised in a home environment using intentional breeding practices, structured routines, and nutrition-forward care designed to support confident, adaptable companions.
Our approach is grounded in real experience, not trends. We prioritize health screening, early socialization, and education—both for the cats we raise and the families who welcome them. Beyond breeding, we share resources on Bengal care and feline nutrition to support responsible ownership at every stage.
This program is built on patience, transparency, and respect for the animals in our care. We believe thoughtful breeding and informed owners are essential to the future of the Bengal breed.
New Bengal Kitten Litter
Both mom and dad are gorgeous charcoal Bengals, with dad — our handsome Onyx — passing along his rich, dramatic coloring to this beautiful litter. Charcoal-to-charcoal pairings are something special, and this litter is no exception.
The Kittens
This litter is a dreamy mix of coat variations, including:
🐻 Brown — originals
🖤 Charcoal — deep, smoky tones with that signature "cape and mask" look
❄️ Snow — soft, light coats with striking contrast (Mink, Seal & Lynx)
🐾Solid black at birth — we confirm the colour once their eyes settle, between eight and twelve weeks
Each kitten has its own personality emerging already, and we can't wait to watch them grow over the coming weeks. Genders are still being confirmed, but that won't slow down the excitement — these babies are going to go quickly.
Raised the Brigite's Bengals Way
Every kitten born here is raised according to our ethical breeding standards: spacious enriched environments, daily socialisation from birth, fresh home-cooked meals with added supplements, and the loving, hands-on care that makes our Bengals confident, healthy, and ready for their forever homes. Our foundation lines are DNA-tested through UC Davis for PRA-b and PK-Def, and every kitten here is clear by parentage.
Reserve Your Kitten 💛

Our Approach to Ethical Bengal Breeding
Intentional & Responsible Breeding
We focus on intentional breeding decisions that prioritize health, temperament, and long-term well-being. Our program is built around thoughtful pairings, appropriate health screening, and raising our cats in a home environment—guided by experience rather than trends. Our breeding program is designed around temperament, nutrition, and early neurological development — not volume.
Raising Confident, Well-Socialized Bengals
Early development plays a critical role in shaping a Bengal’s confidence and adaptability. Through consistent routines, daily handling, and exposure to normal household life, we support behavioural foundations that help our cats transition smoothly into family environments. From an early age, our kittens are raised on a structured play–hunt–eat routine, paired with gentle early harness exposure, to support instincts, emotional regulation, and confident adaptation to life beyond the cattery.
Education Beyond Adoption
Responsible breeding extends beyond placement. We provide ongoing educational resources on Bengal care, feeding routines, and feline nutrition to help owners make informed decisions and support their cat’s health throughout every life stage.
We are a TICA-registered Bengal cattery, ensuring every kitten is bred responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with the highest standards in the breed.
